Santa's Reindeer

All reindeer love the water, but Dasher would rather be around the water than anything else. He loves to run in the water and see how big a splash he can make with each step. Dasher's birthday is March 28.

Dancer is very strong-willed and a bit camera-shy. Dancer was playing in the snow by burying his face in the snow and then tossing it in the air. Santa tried to brush the snow off before he took a picture but Dancer would not let him. Dancer's birthday is April 10.

Prancer's birthday is April 16.

Vixen's birthday is May 10.

Comet is a practical joker and loves to play tricks. Santa woke up one morning and could not find his boots. Mrs. Claus could not find her boot either. When Santa went to the workshop to see if anyone had seen his boots, he found all the elves running around in stocking feet. Santa figured out pretty quickly that Comet was behind the missing boots. He discovered all the shoes in Comet's stall in the barn. Comet's birthday is May 1.

Cupid's birthday is April 6

Donner's birthday is April 27,

Blitzen's birthday is March 10

Rudolph is one of the most beloved of the reindeer. His nose is so bright that it's even visible during the day. When the reindeer play hide and seek, Rudolph tries his best to hide his nose, but it almost always gives him away. Rudolph's birthday is May 22.

Although not a part of the Sleigh Team, Richard practices just in case he is called up. Santa John has an amazing friend. He asked her to name a baby reindeer for him. She named him Richard after her grandfather who was a special part of her life! Richard's birthday is March 26.

Olive's name comes from the song, "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" and the line, "all of (Olive) the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names." Olive's birthday is April 23.

After Santa was unable to deliver a hippopotamus on Christmas Eve 1954, Bruce the Hippo became a permanent resident of the North Pole. The story of Bruce the Hippopotamus is a part of the True Stories from the North Pole. Bruce's birthday is May 17.
